Date Rape Drink Spike Detection Kits Really Work?

to a Hamilton student who conducted her science fair research
at the ISI laboratory, they detect the common date rape drug,
gamma-hydroxy butyrate, in some types of drinks but not others.
According to the research, presented at local and international
science fairs in 2006, the kits can be made to work better with
a few simple steps. The work also suggested other ways in which
consumers can detect adulteration of drinks.
