General Verification Protocol

The Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program is a joint Environment Canada - Industry Canada initiative. It is designed to support Canada's environment industry by providing credible and independent verification of a performance claim(s) for environmental technologies. Interested suppliers are invited to apply to the program for verification of the claims they make concerning the performance of their environmental technologies. If the claim is verified, the company is entitled to use the ETV verification logo along with the accompanying certificate in their marketing activities in Canada and abroad, subject to specific conditions and restrictions for the use of the ETV logo and certificate.
